This piece depicts the journey of a woman who was slowly losing her voice. Deaf since the age of 6 she had managed well to this point. The piece allowed the woman to explore all facets of her sensory life and lead us back to the throat chakra and vulnerability. Here I discovered rare beauty and the 20 layers of paint reveal the depth and layers of the trail and trials of life.
